1. Copyright Policy
ViewR respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement on our platform.
2. Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on ViewR, please notify our Copyright Agent with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location on ViewR (URL)
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
3. How to Submit a Notice
Send your DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent:

4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
ViewR has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
6. Processing Timeline
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice:
- We will review the notice within 1-2 business days
- If valid, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- We will notify the content uploader of the removal
- The uploader may submit a counter-notification if they believe the removal was in error
- If a counter-notification is received, we may restore the content after 10-14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action
7. False Claims
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. We reserve the right to seek damages from any party that submits a notification or counter-notification in bad faith.
8. User Responsibilities
As a ViewR user, you are responsible for:
- Only uploading content that you own or have the right to distribute
- Respecting the intellectual property rights of others
- Not uploading content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
- Responding promptly to any copyright infringement claims
9. Content Monitoring
While ViewR does not actively monitor all user content, we take copyright infringement seriously and will investigate all valid DMCA notices. We may also proactively remove content that we believe infringes on intellectual property rights.
10. Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this DMCA policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
