DMCA Copyright Policy

1. Copyright Policy

ViewR respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our Users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement on our platform.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on ViewR, please notify our designated Copyright Agent as described below.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a DMCA takedown notice, you must provide our Copyright Agent with a written notification that includes:

1. Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered, provide a representative list.
3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., URL or username).
4. Your contact information including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. How to Submit a Notice

Send your DMCA takedown notice to our designated Copyright Agent:

For fastest processing, please submit notices via email. Include all required information listed in Section 2.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or if outside the US, any judicial district where ViewR may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.

5. Our Process

5.1 Upon Receiving a Valid Notice

• We will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
• We will notify the User who posted the content
• We will provide the User with a copy of the takedown notice

5.2 Upon Receiving a Valid Counter-Notification

• We will forward the counter-notification to the complaining party
• We will inform them that we may restore the material in 10-14 business days
• If no court action is filed, we may restore the material

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, ViewR has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, Users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

• First offense: Warning and content removal
• Second offense: Temporary account suspension and content removal
• Third offense: Permanent account termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts at any time for egregious violations, regardless of prior offenses.

7. Good Faith Requirement

ViewR reserves the right to:

• Reject incomplete or improperly formatted notices
• Request additional information before taking action
• Refuse to act on notices we believe to be fraudulent or abusive
• Take legal action against parties who submit false claims

8. Modifications

ViewR reserves the right to modify this DMCA policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
